Alma 16:14 - "And as many as would hear their words, unto them they did impart the word of God, without any respect of persons, continually."

Dear family and friends,

This week was super good but I'm almost out of time so I'll have to keep it short. And I might have to send pictures later or maybe just next week. Hopefully later. We will see.

Anyway so we had a good week with teaching and with fun stuff! On Saturday we celebrated Thanksgiving with Familie Reiche (pronounced Rich). The dad is American and the mom is Dutch and they have a 22-year-old son that is super chill. They met on their mission in Germany. They took a trip to Germany to pick up a turkey and made a bunch of other lekker dishes. It was a nice celebration and made me excited for next year's Thanksgiving on Vine street.

We also had great lessons with our investigators Asmare and Diana. They are both super cool and super positive. Diana is funny and always wants reading for homework. She is from Suriname and has been an investigator for a while and has a testimony but can't get baptized yet due to some weird family situation I think. Still not quite sure. Asmare is also from Suriname, and is super fun. She has a bunch of friends who are members and is coming with us to the Stake Conference and Stake Christmas concert in a couple of weeks. Super excited.

Today we have our Zone Turkey Bowl in Amsterdam so we'll see how that goes. It should be fun. Other than all of that the coolest thing was Zone Training on Wednesday where we had presentations from the Zone Leaders (including my good friend Elder Dearden) and from the Assistants and President. It was all based around Christmas and specifically around the new LDS Christmas campaign. It's all about how we can open up and serve others this Christmas season in different ways, every day from 1 December to 25 December. I'm super excited to do it and I would like to invite all of you to do it as well! I know that as you do and as you make this Christmas season about service and helping others come closer to Christ, you will see a new happiness and light in your lives and the lives of those around you. Serving others is the best way to find happiness and success. You can find the Christmas campaign at this website: mormon.org

Love you all and I hope everybody has a great week and had a great Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for my beautiful family, the opportunity to serve the people of Almere (they've been super good to us), and for the cheap ice cream cones at the McDonalds right below us! It's super bad.

Love,

Elder Wright
