D&C 82:10 -> "I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise."

Dear family and friends,
This week went by very quickly it´s crazy. At the same time though it was very eventful and super busy. We had Zone Conference on Thursday morning/afternoon. It was nice. The biggest thing that President Bunnell, Sister Bunnell, and the Assistants talked about was Family History and missionary work. We´re starting to use Family History in contacting/finding and teaching now. It´s really cool and it´s amazing how interested people can be in it. I myself didn´t realize I was interested in Genealogy at all but it´s so cool! I´ve been able to learn a little bit more about my ancestors over the past couple of weeks and am starting to learn more about the people of Rotterdam and their ancestors.
We had some nice miracles throughout the week. One was meeting Josie. Josie is the girlfriend of an inactive member, Dwight (super funny guy), and she was at Dwight´s house when we went on Monday for an appointment. She was super interested in the message and we watched the Restoration video with her and spoke a little bit about the Book of Mormon with her with the time we had left. She expressed her desire to find the truth and when she came to church on Sunday she mentioned to one of the members who befriended her that she is seriously thinking about being baptized, along with her 12 year old daughter and 8 year old son. Haha no way right? She´s awesome. She is very sincere and has a open heart. She knows that she still has a lot to learn and she is really excited to come closer to Jesus Christ and build her faith and knowledge in Him and in her Heavenly Father´s plan for her. Elder Crowder and I are very excited to keep working with her and guiding her along the way.
We lost contact with John Ardin for about a week and a half but Saturday night we were in the area and knocked on his door and he was home! It turns out that he was in Belgium with his daughters because one of them had gotten very sick. She´s doing well now though and he´s back and as faithful and humble as ever. We caught up with him a little bit and got to know his family a little better and then read the first chapter in the Book of Mormon with him and invited him to read the second one before he came to church the next morning. He did and he made it to church and seemed to really enjoy it! He got to know the members a little bit and he even knew one or two of them. I´m really excited for John. He´s such a sincere and honest and humble man who is ready to take the next step in returning to his Father in heaven.
Last miracle of the week. "Miracle". So Elder Crowder and I were talking and I told him about how Elder Perry and I were in the same orientation group (Y Group) for freshman year at BYU. Elder Crowder was like, "No, I'm pretty sure Elder Perry was in my Y Group." So we were talking about that for a little bit and were pretty confused and we decided to just give Elder Perry a call and guess what!!! Elder Crowder and I were in the same Y Group at BYU!!!! We had no idea. I mean it's not a huge deal but it's pretty cool. What a small world.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great week! The Book of Mormon is the word of God and it is a testimony of Jesus Christ and a testimony that His original church is restored on the earth today and is lead by God through a modern day prophet and modern day apostles. I love being a missionary and learning more about myself and trying my best every day.

Love,
Elder Wright
