Dear family and friends,

Jacob 5:23 - "And it came to pass that the Lord of the vineyard said unto his servant: Look hither; behold I have planted another branch of the tree also; and thou knowest that this spot of ground was poorer than the first. But, behold the tree. I have nourished it this long time, and it hath brought forth much fruit; therefore, gather it, and lay it up against the season, that I may preserve it unto mine own self."

Well first you may be wondering what that gibberish up at the top means. On Saturday we went and had lunch with Familie Schaake. They're an older couple in the ward and they're super funny. We were eating desert and Broeder Schaake said, "Ahh, het smaakt zoals een engel heeft op mijn tong gepissed." It means "it tastes like an angel has peed on my tongue." Just a nice Dutch way to say something tastes amazing.

It was another great week. There's a little bit of sickness going around Zwolle and I got my share of it towards the end of the week. Yesterday we were looking up this nice lady named Willeke and I was talking to her on the door and all of the sudden my voice stopped working... It was great. Well she laughed and let us in and invited us to come back again this week. Whether it is to hear about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ or to laugh at me more, I don't know. We'll see.

We had another funny experience with Hacer. We were able to have two appointments with her this week. On Friday we were talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ (faith, repentance, baptism, the girft of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end) and Hacer's 60ish-year-old mom was sitting with us. She's missing about half of her teeth and has a few screws loose. Such a nice lady though. She always points to Jesus giving Peter the priesthood in the Restoration pamphlet and says "hoofd pijn" and points at herself because she has bad headaches all the time. Anyway, so we were talking and all of the sudden she says to me "I love you", in English. Haha it was funny. I think she was trying to say "I love Jesus", but she got a few words mixed up.

We saw a lot of cool little miracles this week and had a lot of funny experiences. I've been seeing so many answers to prayers lately and God's been helping me a ton with Dutch. I love being a missionary and serving as a representative of Jesus Christ. I'm so honored to serve with all of the other men and women as missionaries all over the world.
