Dear familie and friends,

Alma 57:27 - "Now this was the faith of these of whom I have spoken; they are young, and their minds are firm, and they do put their trust in God continually."

This week was super cool. On Thursday Elder Matos (serving in Assen right now) and I were on exchanges here in Zwolle. (Elder Matos is a great missionary by the way, I really enjoyed working with him) We were on the bus in the morning, going into Zwolle, and Elder Matos went and sat down to talk to someone. So I was just still standing and I notice this guy sitting in a seat next to me looking at my name tag. It wasn't just the typical quick glance like "Oh what's that... Jezus Chris... oh no geen interes", no it was more like, "hmm... De Kerk van Jezus Christus... interesting... what is that?" There's a difference. I should've just started talking to him but I'm lame so I just stood there and looked good and made sure my name tag was easy to read. Pretty soon I glanced over and saw him looking up "De Kerk van Jezus Christus..." on Google and I was like "hey, that's cool". He got to LDS.org and was looking through it a little bit before he had to get off and I was able to slide in real quick and talk to him real fast and hand him a card. The Church is true. All we have to do is stand somewhere and people will be like hey... what's de Kerk van Jezus Christus van de Heiligen der Laatste Dagen? No but it was a cool experience. I hope we see that guy again soon.

We had a bunch of other cool little miracles throughout the week like me finally getting a hair cut and Hacer and Jorn both saying that they'll do their best to live the Word of Wisdom. So sick. It was cool teaching that and other of God's commandments this week. God gives us commandments for a reason. They don't restrict us or make life boring or whatever. They keep us safe and give us peace and give us direction. We were also able to get a dinner appointment with members every night this week so that was a blessing. Being a missionary is awesome.
