1 Nephi 3:7 - "And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: Iwill go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth nocommandments unto the children of men, save he shallprepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."

Dear family and friends,

This week was stellar. We had a lekker exchange with Emmen on Tuesday and some sick appointments throughout the week and a solid Sunday with Familie De Jonge to top it off. Also the weather this week has been great. Mid-60s everyday and nice and sunny and to go along with that... allergies!

I got to go to Emmen with Elder Perry on Tuesday and that was a lot of fun. Emmen is a great place and you get a lot of practice knocking doors so that's cool. We knocked doors and met some super cool people and had dinner with some sick members whose son is getting ready to serve a mission and then we went and knocked some more doors. Elder Perry works hard and is fun and I loved working with him for the day.

Super big cool miracle of the week. Hacer texted us on Monday and let us know that she couldn't get work off for the 24th... but she did get it off for this next Sunday the 17th! I'm super excited and God really answered a lot of prayers there. This is really going to be good for her and help her to progress. We are talking about the Family: A Proclamation to the World with her and actually with a couple other investigators as well. It's super cool to study that more and I'm so thankful that we have a prophet and apostles on the earth right now who can receive revelation like that for us. It's a good reminder of how important families are and of our family responsibilities. Families are forever.

On Thursday we got to have a gezinsavond (FHE) with Etty and her family and that was great. I love Etty and her kids are the best. Kilyanya(???) and I get along super well even though I suck at spelling her name. I don't think she minds too much. It was cool though to get to bond with them and for them to have some family time. Also Etty cooks really well.

We were able to contact like 18 of our 50 billion referrals this week so that was great. It was nice to decrease the number a little bit but also we were able to get a couple of potential investigators out of it so that's perfect. Speaking of referrals, Robert, who was a referral from missionaries in London, is doing great. He's really progressing and expressing a desire to learn more so that he can gain a testimony and eventually take the steps to be baptized. He came to church this week and he's asking a lot of good questions. He's a good man.

It was a pretty good week and this next week should be even better. Tomorrow we get to go to the temple in Zoetermeer. I love going to the temple! It's going to be awesome.

The Church is true! Everybody have a great week!

Love,

Elder Wright
