Joshua 24:15 -> "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Dear family and friends,
This week was super good. I had a lot more opportunities to contact people in Rotterdam and we met a lot of funny people. It was great. On Thursday I worked with Elder Fairbanks the whole day and we used a new contacting technique that he developed where he goes up to someone, says "heads or tails", and then flips a coin. If they get it right they get a Book of Mormon, if not they get a card. Either way we were able to talk with about the gospel and get some numbers. It was cool. We met this bro named Michelle (but he said we could call him Mich) and he told us we need to start having kids asap because in heaven the kids will like carry your throne or something so you need to have a bunch. We also met this American and British guy and had a really nice conversation with them. They had some pretty interesting beliefs but overall they were trying their best to do good and change to world for the better by bringing people together and unifying them. We also met this guy who's here on vacation from Ghana. We're going by later this next week to give him an English Book of Mormon so that's fun. Missionary work is awesome. At the end of the night we were sitting down waiting for our comps and we started talking to this group of homies. Half way through our 45 minute conversation one guy was like okay okay I'll read your book in four days if you take two puffs of weed.. haha yeah do it for the Lord right? Nah we were good examples and talked to the guy about the Word of Wisdom and eventually just left them with a Book of Mormon.
We had a lot of good visits with members this week but the best visit of all was chatting with my beautiful family on Sunday. It was great, besides some technical issues, and it was so good to see everyone. I love my family. It's great chatting with them online but it'll be nice seeing them again in a year. We do what we can until then though.
Sunday we saw some really cool miracles at church. We had planned on maybe three investigators coming to church... that didn't happen. Two of the people we expected to come didn't show which was sad, but it was cool because two random people showed up to church and want to meet with us later in the week, and a member brought his wife who isn't a member and she wants to take the lessons, and Anne (an investigator) went to church as well. It was super cool. One of the random guys that came, Diri, was super cool. He's from Suriname and we were able to share a Book of Mormon with him and set up an appointment for Thursday. He had a lot of good questions and he seems ready to hear more about the restored gospel!
That's about it. It was a great week and I'm excited to keep seeing miracles. Everybody have a great week! Ocampo says hola!

Love,
Elder Wright
