Alma 33:23 -> "And now, my brethren, I desire that ye shall plant this word in your hearts, and as it beginneth to swell even so nourish it by your faith. And behold, it will become a tree, springingup in you unto everlasting life. And then may God grant unto you that your burdens may be light, through the joy of his Son. And even all this can ye do if ye will. Amen"
Dear family and friends,
This week was really good. Last Monday we took a trip out to Kinderdijk. It's on the outskirts of Rotterdam and it's a bunch of windmills and canals and stuff. A great place to take pictures. On Wednesday we said dooi to Elder Harrop and welcomed in Elder Crowder. We also get Elder Wilson close by in the little city of Ommoord. It's great to have so many friends in the zone. Elder Crowder is from California and we had to come with a companionship name so as you probably would have guessed, we chose The Wiscalifornians. Sick huh.
Elder Crowder and I started the transfer of great with some hard work and trying our best to be obedient and we've already started seeing miracles. We met a ton of cool people and set appointments up with them for this week and we also came across some new people that we have started teaching. Mitchel is from Suriname and he is super cool. We knocked on the door of who we thought was a potential but turned out being Mitchel and we taught him the first lesson on the door, invited to be baptized when he comes to know that the message of the Restoration is true, and set up a time to come back next week. He is super cool and I'm excited to keep helping him along the way back to our Heavenly Father.
We also shared the message of the Restoration with Eric. He's this cool guy who's like 4'10" from Ghana. We brought him a Book of Mormon on Thursday night and went back Sunday afternoon to talk with him. We sat on this wall by this school or park or something and it was a lot of fun. I haven't taught a lesson in English in a while and that was my first time teaching a lesson while sitting on a wall! We'll be going back to see Eric next week as well.
Right before we gave Eric the Book of Mormon, we heard some gospel music coming out of this house that said 'Jesus' on the door... so as any missionary would do, we knocked on the door and went and jammed out with some Pinkster members for like 20 minutes. It was great.
Love you all, but mostly my family, and everybody have a great week!
Love,
Elder Wright
