Alma 41 -> "For that which ye do send out shall return unto you again, and be restored; therefore, the word restoration more fully condemneth the sinner, and justifieth him not at all."

Dear family and friends,

Hoiiii this week was super nice. We had Christmas Conference in Den Haag on Wednesday and Stake Conference in Haarlem on Sunday with a Christmas Concert in Zoetermeer on Sunday night. Plus exchanges in Amsterdam on Thursday! I got to work with Elder Dearden again for the first time in almost a year! Super fun. It was a pretty busy week and we weren't in Almere too much, but we still had some really cool experiences here that are keeping this Christmas season full of miracles.

One of the coolest miracles was Friday night, our weekly appointment with Diana. We were talking to her about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and drew out the steps that go along with it. We then asked her what she thought the steps were and labeled them each as we progressed through the lesson. It was super spiritual and Elder Enger and I were playing off of each other super well. We talked a lot about repentance, how it's how we make changes in our lives, and moved onto baptism. Elder Enger opened it up with a scripture talking about how baptism is a gate into a new life. She then told us that the last elders had told her that she can't be baptized because she isn't married (and she is living with her ex-husband still). We told that is true if she isn't keeping the law of chastity/is still in a sexual relationship with him and she said that that wasn't happening and was so excited! She just brightened up because she thought that in order to get baptized she had to be married, but that's not really a thing. I wasn't married as far as I know. So we cleared that up and this week she will be praying about a baptismal date and we'll talk about that next week. She was soooo excited! We're super excited! Go Diana! And go God, He definitely inspired us to bring that up again.

Another cool miracle was that Asmare came to the Christmas Concert and also we went through the baptismal interview questions with her on Saturday just to see where she's at and she said she believes the Church is true and everything but only didn't know about Thomas S Monson... so this next week we'll probably bring up a baptismal goal with her again. Super nice.

It was a great week though! We love our investigators and our thankful for the support of the members and people here.

love,
Elder Wright
