Matthew 25:40 -> "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Dear family and friends,

Wooo ninety weeks look at that! That's super odd. It's been a pretty darn good ninety weeks though and this week was no exception. We were able to teach Dave and Kiona again, this time with Harry, and that went super well. I was also able to meet, and we taught, Francine. She is one of our investigators who lives in the dorp Helmond. She ordered a church dvd a while back and is now taking the lessons and comes to church a bunch. Super nice lady. We were able to take Saturday to contact a bunch of referrals in dorps outside Eindhoven with Elder Fletcher (the Fletchers are a senior couple serving here) and most of them were home and super nice! One, Familie Collen, let us in and we shared the Restoration with the mother and daughter while the "uninterested" father and son sat on the couch on the other side of the room just sneakily listening in. It was a cool lesson though and we were able to exchange contact information at the end and we said we would call them in a week or so to see what they're thinking of the Book of Mormon/if they have any questions. Cool people

While we were traveling through the dorps of Brabant we were able to take a couple minutes here and there to stop and explore the olds churches, which there were a lot of. Today was our p-day so we actually went back to Helmond with some other missionaries and took some pics of the old castle that's there. Unfortunately it's closed on Mondays :( so no going inside. Still super fun though.

I studied a lot this week about Jesus Christ (surprise surprise) and specifically in Matthew 24 and 25. In Matthew 24 Jesus talks about when He will come again and how we all need to be ready for that event or we will not know Him when He comes. I thought about it and I think that He was definitely speaking about the Second Coming, but also about when He will more metaphorically come into our lives each and every day and how we need to be ready for when that will happen. Christ comes to us through other people and the way we learn to know Him is through being prepared to and through actually serving and loving those around us. So I've commited myself to do that. To be prepared each and every day to serve and love those around me in order to better know Christ.

I hope you will all have a great week and that the weather is just as nice where you are as where I am.

liefs,
Elder Wright
